Zimbabwe's Continued Suffering
:
Africa: We Must Never Forget
As I have written before, The butcher Mugabe has once again gotten away with murder. His hands drip with blood. His thugs continue to rampage and live the good life while the rest of the country suffers. This reporting done by the Real News nails the dilema faced by us all:
What is the solution? To me, it is simple. I have written that the South Africans are the only ones to put the screws on Mugabe. The ordinary people of ZImbabwe will suffer. But, the price of freedom and a chance at a better life is worth the short-term suffering. Until the leaders of South Africa have the courage and the backbone to stand up to the butcher, nothing will come of it. As for the crap that Mugabe justifies his rule on the fact that others are just as guilty as he is, that is as lame a excuse as it can be. Why can't the Southern Africans stand up to this butcher?
