Why Do Leaders Want to Make Us Afraid?

Dick Morris's latest column in the New York Post Fear Factor: McCain's Best Bettalked about the fear factor. As I read his column, I realized how right he was. That's exactly the strategy he is pursuing. This column and the pathetic nature of the campaign right now led me to think about this scene from the American President. The political leaders are so good at the blame and the fear game, they have no other way to win. Will it change? I wonder...but there is a lot of wisdom in these words from almost 13 years ago now.....
