The EU & People's Mujahedeen Organization of Iran

Quite Disturbing......
After a concerted campaign, the EU agreed to remove the People's Mujahedeen Organization of Iran (PMOI) from its list of banned terror organizations. The PMO and its' umbrella organization, the National Council of Resistance of Iran, are fighting the Islamic Republic. They are right now based on Iraq. Iraq has told them they have to leave. I am sure that they will dissipate into Europe now that they are no longer regarded as a terrorist organization.
The PMOI pushed the fiction that it was put on the list to appears the Islamic Republic. Now, what the PMOI fails to understand is that it took up arms against Iran during the Iran-Iraq war. It conducted terror campaings. It created a cult-like culture in its' little enclave called Ashraf outside Baghad and was supported by Saddam Hussein for years. It "claims" that it wants democracy for Iran. It aims to "determine" through the appointment of the PMOI leader's wife, Maryam, the direction for the country. The people seem not to matter.
The world saw the fiction before. There was a slick used-car salesman in a thousand dollar suit named Ahmad Chalabi who promised the same about Iraq. The United States bought into this fiction. Now, the PMOI has traveled down the same path. The PMOI is interested in power and power only. It understands how to gain respectability. It has achieved this with the European Union. The PMOI also has quite a fan base in the United States as well. Many so-called Neo-Cons have supported the PMOI. The leading light of it is Raymond Tanner, who worked in Reagan's White House. I think that the United States is a lot smarter now and will not buy into such fiction anymore. I hope I am right.
