Today's Meeting in Geneva: The HIgh Stakes 4 Iran & The World

Will reality prevail?
Iran is about to go into a crucial meeting in a few hours. As I wrote before, I would love to be a fly in the wall to see what Saeed Jalili, Iran's Chief Nuclear Negotiator, will say to the P5 1 Group on what Iran's position is. The Iranians have said they are going to let the IAEA inspect the new facility and have reinforced their view that they will never have a nuclear bomb. The entire political leadership is in sync on this.
There is an argument (and arguably a solid one) on the double standard being used by the World Powers on Iran. What is unfortunate is how Iran has mismanaged this as it has. The Iranians could have made it such to insure that they would have the best of all worlds. I am just trying to understand why is there such a path towards antagonism and confortation vs. diplomacy and reconciliation. I don't see much happening out of the meeting.
On a side note, I find the Iranian Foreign Minister's Travel to Washington quite curious. He is in the U.S. to inspect Iran's Interest Section in Washington. I find the timing very, very curious indeed. One thing is for sure: We sure live in exciting times.
