The VP Sweeps.....
The VP sweeps for both Barack Obama and John McCain is truly in swing. Just like all observers, I anxiously await who they are going to choose. There is one thing that I would agree with all the pundits: choose someone that you're comfortable with. As a leader, though, I would choose someone that would compliment and enhance some of the areas I may not be as comfortable. The guys Senator Obama is with (Senator Hagel and Senator Reed) are quite interesting figures. They have led opposition to the misguided policies of the past seven and a half years. Senator Hagel's insightful and thought provoking article in a recent edition of Foreign Policy Magazine is another strong indication of what he can bring to the table. I anxiously await the choice.
