The Most Realistic Statement Ever!!!

The U.S. Secretary of State noted yesterday that "the United States does not have permanent enemies". This statement is probably the most realistic geo-political reality I have heard ever. So, all the rhetoric and the posturing is basically for nothing. Now that there is this new realism that the Secretary of State has spearheaded, that is something that we can look forward to in realizing that such conficts can indeed be overcome by reason and logic. I maybe naive. But I would rather be naive and optimistic but pessimistic. We have to look to the future. The Secretary of State seems to be spearheading the effort. I hope that she would hold Mr. Cheney and the other remaining neo-con cabale at bay.
