The Middle East Peace Process is Dead

May It rest in Peace!!
Reports are coming in that Lieberman and Bibi Netayhau have signed a coailition agreement for the formation of the next Israeli Government. The agreement calls for Lieberman to be appointed Foreign Minister. I see this development as worrisome. It shows that the Israelis Elite Political Establishment is moving to put the final nail on the cofin of peace and the two state solution. The moves to further marginalize the Palestinians will continue unabatted.
What bothers me is that the prospects for peace appear to be dead. Now, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy's Thomas Crimmins, available at Really Long Link advocates sellign Israel F-22's to help overcome Iranian Air Defenses. Such developments are quite worrisome indeed.
