The House Bailed on the Bailout!!!

: The Question is Now What?
The U.S. House of Representatives has bailed on the bailout. What was laughable was the reason given by the House Republican Leader about how Republicans were offended by the House Speaker's speech. I briefly caught Senator McCain later when he lambasted "Senator Obama and his allies" for being partisan. As I listened to it, I just sighed. This inaction caused the dow jones to lose almost 800 points. I can only imagine what other markets will do when they open in about 8 hours or so. I just can't believe how broken and irresponsible our leaders are. I found Barney Frank's comments funny, yet sad at the same time:

The Democratic Leaders have to also explain why 95 of them bailed. Over 60% did vote for the bill. This means, I suppose, that they can say they delivered. The country did lose today. We are living through another 9/11. Warren Buffett was absolutely right. If the idiots who voted against the plan (both Republicans and Democrats) don't listen to Warren Buffet, then I wonder who will they listen to. The country and the world is in economic peril. There is blame to go around everywhere. I was escatic when the Speaker announced the deal yesterday. Now, everything has fallen apart and the House won't reconvene for another two days. Senator Obama has repeatedly reminded the American People that they are on their own. Today's action by the House of Representatives proved that it to be the case. The excuses are sickening to say the least.

The question is how will we deal with the Tsunami? How do we get out of the mess? I for one am sick and tired of all the doomsayers and so called "I Told You" analysts who remind us why we got here without giving any solutions. We have to get off the addiction to credit just like we are being forced to get off the addiction to carbon. One of the many questions that we also have to think about is the the emergence of the "new economic order"?"

The debate will continue......
