The fate of India's Government

I just briefly visited the Hindu, India's leading National Paper. It appears that the the Government is hanging by a thread. It appears that the larger problem is the rise of regional parties. The two party system seems to be falling apart. if this is in fact happening, it will not bode well for India, the world's largest democracy. The multi-ethic country that is India is prone to insurgency and challenges. The Maoists in the east of the country are as vibrant as ever. I think with the victory of the maoists in Nepal, it will embolden them.

The debate has begun in the Indian Parliament. I am anxious and concerned.
