Spring is in the Air.....

A Chance to Renew :-)
Spring is upon us. It is a chance to reflect and hopefully begin anew. Over 70 Million Iranians will reflect upon the new year, gather around with friends and family in order to watch as the flowers bloosom and the hopes and aspirations again begin a new.
Despite all the challenges before us, I remain hopeful and optimistic. As I was on the road, I wanted to remind myself of Mother Teresa's Prayer that helps to bring things to focus and remind myself of why I am here and to strive to make a difference:
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.
All of us have to strive to make a difference in our own way. May the Lord continue to grant us the patience, the strength and the confidence to do so despite all the odds.
My everyday be springtime and as Iranians say: Happy Nouroz.
