Senator Obama In Afghanistan....
CNN, The BBC & Al Jazeera have just reported that Senator Obama has arrived in Afghanistan on the apparent first leg of his foreign tour.. Let's see what he says, how he conducts himself and how he is received. I think the result of this trip will work towards proving what he will do and how the country will perceive him going forward. The attacks from Senator McCain and his surrogates have been relentless. One of the so-called surrogates, Terry Jeffrey from Human Events (the Right Wing Online Blog) & other right wing afiliations, even went as far as to repeat Senator McCain's line that Senator Obama is a socialist. This was new to me. To me, it appears that the right is desparate. One thing Senator Obama needs to remember, though, is over-confidence. He needs to remember that Senator McCain is not Alan Keyes.
