Sean Hannity's Jihad
Sean Hannity is a "conservative" commentator and pundit with a loyal following in the United States. His website is interesting to visit (http://www.hannity.com). For years he relentlessly pursued Bill and Hillary Clinton. He hated the Clintons with a passion—and I think he probably still does. I never forget the day when the Clinton Presidential Library opened in Little Rock, he had a guy on his show that had opened up a Anti-Clinton Library down the street from now Clinton Blvd. I sometimes watch him to laugh and to learn. He has a point of view that must be respected because we have something called the Constitution and the First Amendment. Sean, to his credit, has also debated folks like Al Sharpton and others who did not agree with him. But, my problem with Sean Hannity is that he thinks he has a monopoly on Wisdom and thinks he is more of an American than the rest of us.
His latest “Jihad” is against Barack Obama and his alleged flip-flops. When I heard him on Fox earlier tonight, I simply turned it off. The rightwing in the United States is mobilized in a massive way to derail Senator Obama’s election. Based on the reading of the polls and just a sense of apathy, the country wants change. Senator Obama, as Vernon Jordan said, has tapped into this sentiment. The rightwing/conservative crowd seems not to have realized it until now and is waking up now to this fact. I am worried that the rightwing will make sure that they will do something to somehow swiftboat Senator Obama yet again. If a lie is said enough times, it may be turning out to be the true. Look at Weapons of Mass Destruction Story that led us to the disaster that we may never recover from.

He gives lie to every time Fox runs its "fair and balanced" line. I'm surprised Alan Colmes hasn't walked off -- after slugging this sanctimonious and pompous "commentator."
Regardless of how one feels about Catholic teachings on birth control, the Church has the right to determine, declare and state Her teachings. Hannity, one of the worst cafeteria Catholics knows this, and despite all his shameless self-packaging as a product of northeastern Irish Catholic upbringing, he is nothing more than a walking, talking and bloviating high paid Judas who has savaged Catholic pro-life activists and dished out plenty of cheap shots against the Church using the pedophile crisis when he can't back up his vitriolic attacks on his own Church's policies.
All he has to do is keep his mouth shut on this if he doesn't agree with it instead of bringing scandal upon himself and his Church.
Hell, I have more respect for Judas who upon seeing what his act did to Jesus, tried to return his 30 pcs. When that didn't work, he hung himself out of shameful grief. Hannity would be demanding an extra bonus.
As a social conservative, that guy plainly embarrasses me to the hilt.
Heavens, would I give anything to see a cleaning house of the hypocrites like Hannity!
