Richistan
Robert Frank wrote a book called Richistan to educate us about the super rich. They live in a world onto themselves. They are a country onto themselves that transcends frankly the traditional nation state. I have been concerned about this, simply because the statistics I have seen note that 90% of the wealth (some 16 Trillion Dollars) is controlled by 1% of the population of the U.S. The gap will continue to widen. The need to have enlightened leaders to work to bridge this gap is so crucial in this election. The question I continue to struggle is whether our existing leaders have the courage to do so?
