MSNBC's Meet the Press had Senator Kerry and Senator Lieberman on. This debate showed me more than anything else the stark differences. One thing I do agree with the analysis done is that McCain is starting to formulate a strategy to deal with the Obama surge. Did Obama make a mistake when he played the so-called race card? I did not get that at all. What I did get was the strategy that the people have to be basically scared into voting for Senator McCain. It is one of the oldest political tricks in the book. I think the American People are a lot more smarter than that and will look at the issues. Both campaigns have taken off the gloves...and it will get nasty.
