Wow!!!!
I have been listening to an explosive interview with Jeremy Schaill. Although some may question the source, the fact remains that the war is being privatized. The fact that mercenaries are being hired to execute the war is absolutely scary. It is indeed an eye opener and should give all a reason for pause.

I don't think you have any idea what Blackwater and the rest of the so-called "private armies" are actually doing and the money being spent on these guys. These guys are making 100 K a year. As for no support, the defense budget is around 700 BILLION dollars--that's Billion with a B. The President is gearing up to send off an additional 30K in troops, plus another 30K in support personnel--not withstanding all the private mercenraies that this guy uncovered. This escalation is wrong..and is our generation's Vietnam not withstanding the President's contention that he would finish the job. For the sake of the Country, I pray that I am wrong.
