Musharaf is Boxed In...
:
He Needs to Go, NOW!!!
The President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharaf, has been pushed into a corner. The impeachment move by the coalition that rules Pakistan is in full swing. Mr. Musharaf has to move on for the sake of the country. He wore his country's uniform for 46 years. If that 46 years means anything, it means that duty comes before personal honor. I am sure that he knew and understood that once. It just seems to me that someone needs to sit him down and tell him the way it is.
Pakistan has some real problems. The only institution functioning is the Army. It appears that the present Chief of Army Staff, General Kiyani is trying. But, Pakistan is more dangerous than Afghanistan. It is a nuclear power. The taliban are resurrgent and are truly giving the Army a tough time. Musharaf has to go in order to give the new government the breathing space to put together a semblance of democracy. Maybe the United States will finally talk some sense into him.
