Senator McCain came out about a year go to joke about bombing Iran. For some reason, I have not been able to get this out of my mind. In his website, he noted that , "...It's my understanding that this missile test was conducted by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. ...". First of, it is a fact that the test was done by the Air Division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp. So, he seems to be out of touch in this basic fact. Beyond that, he's leading the drum beat for an eventual strike against Iran. I have noted in my comments about how idiotic and foolish this attack will be. Yet, this drumbeat of threats continues. The only thing it is going to prove is how simple minded U.S. Policy Makers are. It is bothersome that we have to have that kind of attitude.
John McCain did also note that it did not matter when the troops came home. We have to expect the utmost from our leaders. The narrow minded approach to policy challenges is not leadership. It is simply tunnel vision. It is not reality.
