Joe Lieberman Speaks Again....
CNN is reporting that Joe Lieberman claims that Barack Obama's proposals will lead the United States to lose the war. Before I talk about him, I wanted to note that Al Gore was asked about his former runningmate during his appearance on NBC News' Meet the Press. He artfully dodged directly criticizing him, but did note disagreements he's got with him. I am amazed as to his open embrace of John McCain. One thing that he does not understand that thanks to him and other advocates, we will paying for this misguided war for years on end. Al Maliki embraced Obama's plan, although I am sure that the White House basically told him to shut up. So, if Al Maliki wants us out, if the Iraqi Parliament out..then who are we to want to stay. The Democrats, I am sure, are bitting their time just for a while longer until November turns around. I hope they kick him out of the caucus the day after the election when the Democrats gain enough majority to truly begin to change this country. Joe Lieberman was the same cheerleader who used to tout progress in Iraq by the number of cellphones owned by the people. The man simply needs to come out of the shadows and truly declare his intentions one way or the other.
