Jackson vs. Obama & Obama's Chances
Jesse Jackson put his foot in his mouth, yet again. He made some derogatory comments in regards to Senator Obama. I won't go into it in detail here because it is simply beneath contempt to mention it. Jesse Jackson did apologize for it, but he once again showed that he is out of touch. He should have known better. This is even more so in light of the fact that Fox News broadcast this live. As for Senator Obama, he's continuing his quest. His odds to win the Presidency seem to be improving by the day. Despite his recent moves to the center (which has alienated some of the ardent liberal supporters), he still is in the fight. For instance, the decision he made on FISA has antagonized a number of people. I have said in my writings here and also even on My Barack Obama's personal blog that he is being pragmatic. Being Pragmatic and focusing on problems is the key to succeed as a leader. The United States has profound challenges before it. If someone sticks to a rigid ideological position, then it will be like the past 8 years. The country wants change. Even Senator McCain has admitted that.
