Is there any hope?
I read about a guy making $ 12 bucks an hour protecting a guy who made 3.7 billion dollars last year. The gap between the rich and the poor continues to be ever more. Some of the nouveau rich got their money by buying up companies, paying them an obsecne amount of money and then turned around and sold them. The Blackstone CEO group is just one example. He had Rod Stewart sing at his 60th Birthday bash for thirty minutes. Some of the other excesses is not even funny. Some of those who practiced such excesses of course (Conrad Black, The Ex-CEO of Tyco) are now in jail. But, as Gordon Getcko was asked in Wall Street, "...how much is enough?"
