Is the World Truly Hypocritical Towards Zimbabwe?
I am right now listening to a debate on democracynow (http://www.democracynow.org) about the apparent double standard by the world towards Zimbabwe. The land question is key and it is important to have it reclaimed justifably. I agree with that. The problem is that no reconcliiation exists. All African countries are having profound challenges. Just because such issues exists, does not justify what has happened in Zimbabwe. The arrogance has to stop. If Africa can help to turn around Zimbabwe, then it will have credibility to deal with some of the other challenges it faces. And yes, maybe South Africa and Namibia will learn from the mistakes of Zimbabwe. ZANU-PF is not a party and a force to be reckoned with. They are a bunch of thugs, that's all.
