Iran's Meeting in Geneva
July 20th 2008 07:17
I had a chance to review the Al Jazeera Dispatch and also listened to Saeed Jalili's News Conference. First of, Saeed Jalili was smiling. I can't understand why he was smiling. The world is asking for Iran to step up. Yet, Iran is playing for time. The euphoria was frankly misguided The spin from Iran's State Broadcaster is this: Solana notes that the meeting was a step in the right direction. I laughed when Jalili asked for patience. He equated diplomacy to a fine Persian Carpet. His description denigrated the very nature of one of the most beautiful creations the world has seen. I still hope that pragmatism prevails.

Can you HACK it?

Um I think the broadcast was probably meant for domestic consumption. So remember that he might not know, or care, that you're watching at all.
Just an idea.
