Iran's Basketball Team

I nearly fell off my chair when I found out that the Iranian Basketball Team is in the United States. They're visiting Utah and have a series of games scheduled with the NBA Development teams to gear up for the Olympics. The visit was compared to the so-called ping pong diplomacy that eventually led to the historic visit by Richard M. Nixon in 1972. But, there is also another reason too: They are good!!! They won the Asia Championship and will be playing at the Olympics in Beijing. I would be interested to see how far they go!!!

If we lose to these guys, will Spike Lee still be rolling film on Kobe? Losing to Iran will bring a lot of woe to our national team's program with heads to roll in a very short time. As well they should if they lose because Iran will milk a win over our guys for every thing it can.
