I have been a sceptic...but......

It appears that things in Iraq are truly improving and the Iraqi Prime Minister is truly start to assert himself. CNN is reporting that the Iraqi Prime Minister is on board with Senator Obama's Plan to withdraw the troops within 16 months. To me, this totally deflates whatever arguments Senator McCain is advancing about 4 years or 40 years. In addition, the Status of Forces Agreement seems to continue to be stalled. This is another win for Senator Obama in my view. How he plays it in Iraq when he is there remains to be seen. He is right now in Afghanistan. I was trying to assess any reporting on it so far...I have not seen much to reflect and comment on. When he goes to Israel and then onward to Europe is a sight to be seen, though. From the reporting in the Financial Times today, it appear that the Europeans are taking a liking to Senator Obama. The world is waiting for change. Senator McCain does not seem to realize that despite his rhetoric to the contrary.
