Do Polls truly matter?
I have continued my readings on Sarah Palin, the post-mortem on the convention and some of the blog postings (including those within our ever-growing Orble Community). I also wanted to assess what the key polling outfits in the country saw as of today. Well, Gallup's daily poll is giving Senator Obama a 8 point edge. Rasmussen's analysis calls it pretty much an even election. As for Zogby, there is nothing from him just yet that I saw.
Will the election be close?; I don't know. Who will win? I don't know. It will be a personal decision. Polls, pundits (including this amateur one) and others will have their say--that's for sure. The choices are as stark as ever though. I am sure that it is one thing that the entire country agrees upon.
