Brown v. Obama: Really!??!??
:
...not so fast.....
Scott Brown is riding high. He was the toast of the talk show hosts over the week-end. As post-mortems continued to be written about the Obama Adminstration, I found Don Lemmon's comments on CNN Saturday night especially disturbing. Don Lemmon crowned Scott Brown as the Republican answer to Barack Obama.
As I listened to Mr. Lemmon, I thought about the simliaritlies. For one thing, he has been newly elected to the Senate. Barack Obama was elected in 2005 and began running around 2007. Brown has two daughters--so has Barack Obama. But, that's where the simillarities end. From what I have read of Scott Brown, I see that he is very much a self-made man as Barack Obama is. But, crowning him as someone with 2012 Presidential prospects is too early. With the Citizens United Case that the Supreme Court handed down, all bets are off on everything, though. The death of the Obama Adminstration, though, is another overhype too.
